Intro to leatherwork
Create something unique for yourself or personalise a gift (or two/three or four) for a friend!
In this noisy, hands-on class you will get the chance to experiment with stamping your own designs as well as learning the basics of cutting, shaping, dying and assembling your own leather key chains and luggage tags.
All materials are provided and at the end of the class you will take home 2-4 pieces of your very own handcrafted designs.
Whilst creating you can also sip on seriously good coffee and munch on a delicious tart, available for purchase from the Degroot Coffee van on sight at Summertown Studio. What more could you want?!

"Tonic of wildness"
"We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature."
- Henry David Thoreau
A group exhibition with works by Beth Newton, Carolyn Jarrett, Christine Butcher & Eleanor Day.
